Sunlight carries UVA (320–400nm) and UVB (roughly 290–315nm). When UV reaches human skin, the body converts cholesterol into vitamin D3 — the same mechanism every human body has run for 300,000 years. Indoor life, windows, clothing, sunscreen, and winter latitudes reduce natural UV exposure. The Ultron emits UVA and 311nm UVB through Philips bulbs manufactured in the Netherlands. It's a light source. The body does what the body does.

How To Use Your Light

Ultron gives users the ability to choose between red/NIR, UVA, and UVB independently using built-in timers and clearly labeled mode buttons. This allows for fully customized sessions depending on your wellness goals.

Red & NIR Use:
· Start at 5 minutes, work up to 20 minutes
· Use LED mode first; once tolerated, add COB for deeper exposure
· Facial use: LED only, 18–24 inches away
· Keep target area 10–18 inches from the lamp
· Use up to 5 times per week
· Evening use: turn off COB and use LEDs as ambient light

UVA/UVB Use:
· Start with 1-minute sessions, increase slowly up to 5 minutes
· Use only with provided blackout goggles
· Males must wear underwear to cover genitals
· Monitor for a light pink (erythema) response—this is your time threshold
· UVA can be used for light signaling, UVB may support vitamin D via skin exposure

Do I have to use goggles with my lamp?
