Do you ship overseas?

Yes. All our lights have International voltage converters integrated which means the voltage difference in varying in different countries is a non-issue. We will provide you with the correct power supply for your country.

How long will it take to get my order?

Most orders arrive within 7–9 business days from the day you place them.

Many arrive sooner, especially if your item is stocked in our USA, EU, or UK warehouses. We quote the wider window because we'd rather beat your expectations than miss them.

And one thing worth knowing up front: we pay all import fees and duties upfront, for every customer. Most brands don't — they ship it out and let the carrier hand you a bill at the door. We don't do that.

Here's what happens between checkout and delivery.

1. Order Processing — 1 to 2 business days

Your order is processed and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. holidays).

2. Tracking — within 2 to 3 business days

Your package often leaves our facility before the tracking number posts. We upload tracking within 2–3 business days of your order — so if your confirmation email hasn't landed yet, your order is still moving. The number just hasn't caught up.

You can check your order status anytime at Track My Order.

3. Transit — 6 to 7 business days

We ship from warehouses across North America, Europe, and Asia, and your order goes out from whichever one stocks your item. Most customers receive their order 6–7 business days after it ships, depending on destination and local delivery speeds.

We partner with DHL, FedEx, UPS, Canada Post, and USPS.

4. No import fees. Ever.

You will never pay duties, taxes, or import fees on an EMR-TEK order.

If your product ships from a regional warehouse, there are no duties at all. If it isn't stocked in your region, we ship DDP — Delivered Duty Paid — and cover every import fee on your behalf. Nothing is owed at delivery. No carrier will ask you for money before releasing your package.

This is uncommon. Most brands ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), which means the duty bill lands on you at the door — often 15–25% of your order value, on top of what you already paid. We absorb that cost so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

International orders can still take a few extra days to clear customs. Check your tracking regularly and respond promptly to any carrier outreach so clearance isn't delayed.

How long should a session last?

At a distance of 12–31 inches, we recommend 5–10 minutes per session.

Where you land in that range depends on two things: how deep the target tissue sits, and what's in front of it.

Light has to travel through whatever sits between the panel and the tissue you're treating. A knee joint is surrounded by dense bone and connective tissue, so it needs more exposure time and higher intensity to reach the target. Facial skin sits right at the surface and needs far less. Deeper or more obstructed target, longer session. Surface tissue, shorter session.

Important: never use COB mode on facial skin.

Facial skin is the most sensitive skin on your body and responds differently to high-intensity light than skin anywhere else. For any direct facial application, use LED mode only, at a minimum distance of 24 inches.

This isn't a comfort recommendation — it's how the device is meant to be used. COB mode is for body tissue: joints, muscles, back, and deeper targets.

Quick reference

Target Mode Distance Time
Face and surface skin LED only 24 inches minimum 5 minutes
Muscle and soft tissue COB or LED 12–31 inches 5–10 minutes
Joints and deep tissue COB 12–31 inches 10 minutes

Do your products emit harmful EMFs?

No. Our lamps are designed with low-EMF output and shielded internal wiring to ensure user safety.

Do EMR lights flicker?

Nearly all lights including incandescent flicker from being powered by AC power.
LEDs can be particularly troublesome if they are designed with low quality components.

Our lights use high quality power drivers to ensure practically no flicker, please read our blog on "the flicker effect" where we show flicker vs very limited flicker. We have eliminated the flicker to the point where even in slow motion video it can not be detected.

Do I have to use goggles with my lamp?

We recommend closing your eyes during facial exposure. For prolonged or very close facial use, wearing goggles is advised.
