LEDs don't emit one exact wavelength — every diode peaks within a small range that shifts slightly with heat and manufacturing batch. So instead of printing one tidy number, here's what our devices actually deliver: red light peaking at 630nm and 670nm, and near-infrared peaking at 830nm and 850nm. Four peaks across the two ranges the research points to — 600–700nm for skin and surface tissue, 800–900nm for muscle and deeper tissue.
You don't have to take our word for it. We sent our lamps to Light Labs International, an independent lab, for irradiance measurements at 6 and 12 inches — you'll find the full Inferno test report under "Check the Specs." And on our product pages, our good friend Robert Hunt, author of The Blue Light Diet, measures our devices on video with his own spectrometer, so you can watch the readings yourself.
Measured irradiance: 138.39 mW/cm² at 6 inches · 67.22 mW/cm² at 12 inches
The same 200W COB chips power the Firewave and Firewave PRO; Fire Dragon runs slightly higher (288W COB), Firefly slightly lower (75W COB)
Meanwell drivers — flicker-free, low-EMF
