Inferno PRO — Full-Body System, Meanwell Drivers
630nm · 660nm · 830nm
The Inferno PRO has the same design as the Inferno: five COB modules aligned vertically to the body's midline, 132 LEDs filling the field, and 1,400W of output. It adds what practitioners ask for, Meanwell industrial-grade drivers and modular connectivity. It's built for studios running multiple sessions a day and for home setups that want professional-grade equipment.
Full body from one panel: Sit in meditation pose on a mat 12 inches in front of the panel, and almost anyone gets full-body coverage from head to seat, legs included, even people 6'3". You don't need a second panel and you don't need to reposition. Standing, the panel covers you from head to lower core. That's near full-body, and we'd rather tell you that than stretch the word "full." Seated, it's the real thing.
Five COB modules, aligned to anatomy: Five COB modules run down the center of the panel. Each one meets a specific point on your body's midline. From top to bottom: the head (transcranial), the thyroid, the heart, the abdomen and the pelvic floor. Transcranial photobiomodulation is one of the most actively studied areas in the research, and the top module is aligned for exactly that. The four below concentrate output where your center axis has the most tissue depth. Some will recognize those five points as the chakra locations. We designed around tissue depth and the research: the brain and heart are among the most mitochondria-dense tissues in the body, and mitochondria are what this light interacts with. The tradition just happens to land where the mitochondria are. The 132 × 3W LEDs fill the surrounding field.
30-degree cone lenses: Each emitter sits behind a 30-degree cone lens. That focuses the light into a tighter beam than the 60-degree lenses on our compact panels, so the light holds its strength at session distance instead of scattering into the room. You can see it in the measurements: from 6 to 12 inches, irradiance roughly halves instead of dropping to a quarter, as it would from an unfocused source.
Measured, not guessed: how we set session times
Most brands give you a session time with nothing behind it. Here's ours, step by step.
1. We had it measured independently. Light Labs International measured the Inferno's 200W COB at 138.39 mW/cm² at 6 inches and 67.22 mW/cm² at 12 inches. That number is its irradiance: how much light power reaches each square centimeter of your skin.
2. We checked it against the research. Michael Hamblin's group at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital reviewed the light therapy literature. They found most studies use a dose of 1–20 J/cm² (Huang, Sharma, Carroll & Hamblin, Dose-Response, 2011).
3. We did the math. Dose equals irradiance multiplied by time.
• At 12 inches (measured: 67 mW/cm²): every minute delivers about 4 J/cm², so 2–4 minutes gives roughly 8–16 J/cm².
• At 24 inches (estimated: 17–33 mW/cm²): we projected this range from the measurements. 6–10 minutes keeps you inside the research range anywhere in it.
4. Why not longer? The same research found that light follows a biphasic dose response: past a certain point, more light does less, not more. So longer isn't better. The right dose is.
We publish our measurements, and our estimates labeled as estimates, so you get real session times backed by research, not a number we made up.
What the Meanwell drivers change: Flicker drops from the standard Inferno's independently tested 3.2% to 0%, with no detectable magnetic field and stable power over the device's lifespan. That matters when one panel runs several people and several sessions every day. No device that plugs into a wall can fully eliminate an electric field, but at session distance it drops below detectable levels.
Stands on its own, hangs anywhere, expands when you're ready: The Inferno PRO stands securely on its own built-in pegs, on any floor. The optional floor stand is useful if you want to roll the panel between rooms or stack two units. The included pulley system hangs it from any door. Some customers hang it on the back of the shower door and switch it on before they step in. Modularity is the PRO's quiet superpower: the standard Inferno doesn't connect to other panels, but the PRO does. Start with one panel and build the room later.
The wavelengths: 630nm and 660nm red with 830nm near-infrared gives two peaks in the red window and one in the near-infrared. These are where cytochrome c oxidase, the mitochondrial enzyme at the center of photobiomodulation research, absorbs light most strongly. 630nm and 660nm work in the dermis (fibroblast activity, collagen production). 830nm penetrates centimeters into muscle, joint and connective tissue. 830nm is invisible, so wear the included blackout goggles every session.
