A leave-in scalp mist formulated around one idea: the follicle is a living structure with a supply line, and everything in this bottle is studied around some part of that biology. Spray it on twice a day. If you own a Firewave, spray it on before your session — the actives absorb into the scalp, and the light works on the same cells at the same time.
What's in it
At the follicle — Caffeine, one of the most studied compounds in hair follicle biology, examined for its interaction with androgen signaling at the follicle root sheath (Fischer et al., 2007). And the copper peptide complex — Alanine/Histidine/Lysine Polypeptide Copper HCl, GHK-Cu family — studied for its role in the VEGF-related pathways associated with capillary formation (Pickart et al., 2015). Capillaries are the follicle's supply line. The Firewave's red light is studied around related vascular biology from the outside. Two inputs, same target.
The soy trio — Soybean seed extract and Rhynchosia nulubilis seed extract, whose isoflavones (genistein and daidzein) are studied for their role in 5-alpha reductase enzyme biology — an enzyme involved in androgen signaling at the follicle. Plus hydrolyzed soy protein, which is different: broken down small enough to interact with the hair fiber directly, studied for its role in forming a protective film and improving the appearance of fullness and body.
Circulation biology — Peppermint oil and L-menthol, studied for their interaction with TRPM8 receptors at the scalp — the receptor that responds to cold — with peppermint carrying its own research record in hair follicle biology (Oh et al., 2014). Menthol also functions as a penetration enhancer, helping the other actives reach the follicle instead of sitting at the surface. And Zanthoxylum alatum, the Szechuan pepper botanical, whose sanshool compounds are studied for their interaction with TRPV channels — a separate receptor pathway from menthol's. Multiple routes into the same blood-flow biology.
Follicle-cycle botanicals — Eclipta prostrata, studied for its interaction with the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway examined in hair follicle stem cell research. And Polygonum multiflorum (He Shou Wu), studied in the context of scalp antioxidant biology — oxidative stress is one of the environmental factors studied in premature follicle cycling.
Structure and condition — Biotin, a cofactor in the keratin synthesis pathways (keratin is the structural protein your hair shaft is made of). Silk amino acids, used in professional hair care for decades and studied for their role in cuticle smoothness and tensile strength. Panthenol and dexpanthenol, two forms of vitamin B5 — one at the surface, one deeper — studied for hair fiber hydration and elasticity. And an amino acid complex including cysteine, which matters because hair is roughly 14% cysteine — it forms the disulfide bonds that hold the shaft together — and arginine, a building block in nitric oxide biology.
The environment — Sea silt extract, mineral-rich, and stevia leaf extract, both there for scalp microenvironment balance. The scalp is skin. The rest of the biology builds on it being clean and balanced.
What the light adds
Follicles sit a few millimeters down in the scalp — within reach of the 630–670nm range, the most-studied wavelengths in hair follicle photobiomodulation research. Red light is studied for its interaction with cytochrome c oxidase, an enzyme inside your mitochondria — the part of the cell that makes energy — and for its role in nitric oxide biology, the same signaling molecule several of this formula's botanicals are studied around. The formula was developed in the context of Korean Dermatological Society research on combining bioactive topicals with red light, and it's patented.
The mist puts the actives in place. The light works on the same cells. Both at the same time, in the same place.
How to use
Shake well. Spray directly onto the scalp and hair twice daily — wet or dry hair. Massage in with fingertips or a soft brush. Non-greasy, absorbs quickly, no residue.
With red light: apply the mist, then place your Firewave or Firewave PRO at the top of a yoga mat and lie down with the COB module aligned to the center of your head, 14–16 inches from the scalp. Never closer than 12 inches. Your hair should feel only slightly warm — never hot. 10–20 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a red light device to use this?
No. The mist is formulated to work on its own — twice-daily application is the baseline. But it was designed to pair with red light: if you have an EMR-TEK panel, spray before your session so the actives and the light are working on the same cells at the same time.
Which device and setup?
Firewave or Firewave PRO. Place it at the top of a yoga mat, lie down, and align the COB module with the center of your head at 14–16 inches. Never closer than 12 inches. 10–20 minutes.
What wavelengths pair best?
630–670nm — the range studied most in hair follicle photobiomodulation research. The Firewave and Firewave PRO include wavelengths in this range.
Is it safe for color-treated hair?
Yes. It's free from sulfates, parabens, and harsh stripping agents, and designed for daily use.
How long should I give it?
Hair biology runs on a slow clock — the follicle growth cycle is measured in weeks to months, not days. Whatever scalp routine you run, give it 8–12 weeks of consistent daily use before you judge it. Consistency is the variable.
Why USA and Canada only?
For now, distribution is limited to North America. Orders from outside the US and Canada will be refunded.
