ETERNO LED Face Mask
630nm + 660nm Red | 525nm Green | 580nm Yellow — The Light Fusion System
In light-based dermatology — PUVA, photodynamic therapy — the topical always goes on first, because it prepares the skin for the light. Our founder Kris grew up inside that sequence: narrowband UVB sessions for his vitiligo from age 13, and every one began cream first, then light. The ETERNO borrows the order, not the medicine — a two-step skincare routine: prepare the skin, then light it.
How it works: Apply the colour-matched Light Fusion sheet mask for 15 minutes — each delivers actives (niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, marine collagen, CoQ10, Vitamin C) that prime your skin for its wavelength. Then put on the ETERNO. The mask works on its own too, but the two-step routine is how it was designed.
Red (630 + 670nm) — The most-studied range in photobiomodulation: it interacts with cytochrome c oxidase in your mitochondria, and the research centers on fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin, which determine how skin holds its shape as it ages. If you've read about red light and the appearance of fine lines, this is the mechanism those studies examine. Pairs with the Red sheet mask.
Green (525nm) — Uneven tone — age spots, sun spots, what's commonly called hyperpigmentation — comes down to melanogenesis, the process by which your melanocytes produce melanin. 525nm sits in the range researchers use to study interaction with melanin and that pathway. The Green sheet mask is built around it, with actives like alpha-arbutin and niacinamide studied in the context of melanin production.
Yellow (580nm) — Visible redness — flushing, irritation, skin that reacts to everything — is a story about the small blood vessels near the surface and the skin's barrier. Oxyhemoglobin in those vessels absorbs strongly at 580nm, which is why researchers use yellow to study it, along with barrier biology and the skin's inflammatory response. The Yellow sheet mask is formulated around that same barrier biology.
Why it never touches your skin: LED masks are commonly molded from polycarbonate or ABS — materials that can release plasticizers when warmed — and during a session your skin is warm, moist, and more absorbent than usual. Rather than have that debate on your face, the ETERNO's rigid shell hovers 3mm above the skin: no contact, no trapped heat, no surface to sanitize between uses, nothing pressing on warm, open pores.
It's battery powered — no cord, no grid connection while you wear it — flicker and EMF free, and the exterior wipes clean.
