Most LED masks make you choose: cover the whole face or stay comfortable. The V2 was built to do both. It has 92 chip groups (368 LEDs) in a soft, hollow, medical-grade liquid silicone shell that wraps the entire face with almost no blind spots. It's light enough to wear while you read, stretch, or unwind.

How it works: Choose one of four modes, set a 10, 20, or 30 minute session, and pick one of three intensity levels. The mask shuts off on its own when the session ends. Start at the lowest intensity and build up if your skin tolerates it.

Red + Near-Infrared (630nm + 830nm), Mode 1. This is the most-studied range in photobiomodulation. Red and near-infrared light interact with the mitochondria in skin cells, and the research centers on fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin. If you've read about red light and the appearance of fine lines, firmness, and tone, this is the combination those studies examine. Near-infrared travels deeper than visible red, which is why the two are paired.

Blue (415nm), Mode 2. Breakouts involve oil, bacteria, and inflammation. 415nm is the range researchers use to study its effect on acne-related bacteria and on blemish-prone, oily skin. It's the colour to reach for when your concern is congestion rather than ageing.

Green (520nm), Mode 3. Uneven tone, dark spots, and lingering marks come down to melanin. 520nm sits in the range studied for its interaction with melanin and its effect on the look of tone and redness.

Red + NIR + Blue (Mode 4). A combined session, for when you want ageing and blemish concerns covered in one sitting.

Why it's built this way:

• Soft, skin-friendly silicone. The shell is medical-grade liquid silicone that follows the contours of your face, so it doesn't pinch or press on long sessions.
• Even light. The shell holds the LEDs about 15mm from the skin, which spreads the light evenly across the face.
• Breathable hollow design. Open cut-outs keep it light and stop it from feeling stuffy.
• Eye protection. The eye area is hollow and shaped to keep LED light out of your eyes, so there's no glare.
• Easy to clean. It's IP67 water and dust resistant. Wipe it down after each use, or rinse the mask under running water with the controller disconnected, and make sure the port is dry before reuse.

It's rechargeable (2600mAh) with a Type-C connection, so it works anywhere there's a seat. The controller clips on and takes about 4-5 hours for a full charge, with roughly 1-1.5 hours of use. Don't use the mask while it's charging.

Suggested routine: Red/NIR and green, 3-4 times a week for 10-20 minutes. Blue, 2-3 times a week for 10-20 minutes. No more than 30 minutes total per day. Cleanse and dry your face first, and apply skincare afterwards. Wear sunscreen daily.
