TESTED & PUBLISHED

Every lens tier gets bench-verified on a spectrometer before the spec goes live on the site. Red holds 100% past 570nm across the calibrated blue and green range. What we publish is what the lens does. Pair after pair.

THE EMR-TEK STANDARD

CALIBRATED - NOT TINTED

Every EMR-TEK lens is optically calibrated and lab-verified. Not tinted plastic with a vague blue-light claim. Frames engineered for daily, long-term wear, built to outlast the disposable blue-blockers sold as screen accessories. Every pair comes in plain, magnification, prescription, progressives, or bifocals. One verified standard across the line.

EVERY SPEC PUBLISHED

Yellow blocks 90% of blue light across 400–450nm. Orange blocks 98% across 400–520nm. Red blocks 100% of blue AND green across 400–570nm. Three lens tiers matched to time of day, each with its own published blocking range. If we printed the number, the lens hits it. Pair after pair.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Three tiers, three windows:

    • Daytime / screen use (yellow or orange lens) — for computer and phone time during the day. Cuts the high-energy blue peak without distorting colors so much you can't work.
    • Evening (orange lens) — 2–3 hours before bed. More aggressive blue block, still usable around the house.
    • Red lens (deep-night) — 1 hour before bed and into the night. Blocks blue and green. This is the strictest tier.

Most people who go all-in own two pairs: a daytime tier and a red tier. If you're only buying one, start with the red.

  • Every lens tier gets bench-verified on a spectrometer before the spec goes live on the site. The red tier holds 100% block past 570 nm across the calibrated blue and green range. What we publish is what the lens does. Pair after pair — not one hero sample.

The test curves are public. If you want to see them, email info@emr-tek.com and we'll send the spectrometer reports.

  • Off-the-shelf tiers (red, orange, yellow): US orders ship in 1–2 business days, 3–5 days to your door. Free shipping over $99. International ships duty-free worldwide — no surprise customs bill.

Prescription pairs: Each pair gets individually made to your script, so shipping takes longer — typically 2–3 weeks from order to delivery.

If the tier or fit isn't right, send them back within 30 days for a full refund. No restocking fees. Most returns are actually tier swaps (red for orange, usually) — email support before shipping back and we'll handle the exchange directly so you're not paying return shipping twice.

  • Don't drive in the red tier — color perception shifts too far for safe driving (red/green traffic lights get weird). Use the yellow or orange tier for driving at night if you need one.

For work, the red lenses are fine for reading, talking, watching TV, or anything around the house. For color-accurate work (design, photo, video editing) use the yellow tier during the workday and switch to red when you're winding down.
